Haunted Hall of Horror – The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department hosts the Haunted Hall of Horror at the A. C. Brase Arena every October. This haunted house will take you on a long, dark journey through the nooks and crannies of the A. C. Brase Arena. Those who enter should be prepared for endless mazes full of creepy clowns, 3D Freak Show, an asylum, dolls that come alive, and so much more! All ages are invited, but kids twelve and under must be accompanied by an adult. Click here for event poster.

Horror Hollow at Pumpkin Hollow – Arkansas’ terrifying haunted attraction! Check out Triple Terror Tour at Pumpkin Hollow, which includes Misery Mansion, Forest of Fright, and Bubba’s Butcher Barn, along with Zombie Paintball and more. Explore more here.
Perryville Pumpkin Patch – Come visit to find out what it’s like to spend time on a farm. The Perryville Pumpkin Patch has activities across 25 acres of the farm with 3 parking areas. Explore and have fun in the two acre corn maze, soybean maze, big bales, straw tunnel and corn kernels, see the farm animals and more. Everyone can experience a real patch and pick unique pumpkins of all colors from the vine by walking to a patch or taking a wagon ride to the patch. Directions and full list of activities here.
Pumpkin Hollow – Pumpkin Hollow is your destination for family-friendly farm fun! During the day enjoy the gourd trellis, pumpkins, farm animals, zipline, the putt putt golf course, cornfield mazes, and more. Daytime Saturday and nighttime events are now open! Come see why Pumpkin Hollow is listed on Travel Channel’s Top 10 pumpkin patches in the U.S. Pumpkin Hollow is located in Piggott, Arkansas. Grace United Methodist Church’s Grace Pumpkin Patch – Starting October 9th, pumpkins will be on hand at Grace United Methodist Church on Broadway in Cape! Swing by and have the kids pick out their pumpkins. Proceeds benefit the boy scouts and girl scouts at Grace United Methodist Church. The pumpkins come from an Indian reservation in New Mexico and are raised for a wide variety of churches and charitable organizations.
Other Fall Festival/Halloween Events
Monster Mash Car Bash – Monster Mash Car Bash is back for Halloween this year! Families are invited to join Old Town Cape Sunday, October 31st from 4 to 5:30pm at 35 S. Spanish Street. Classic cars will be decorated for the season and on display with trunks full of candy in the popular Trunk-or-Treat style. Three awards will be given to classic car drivers at the event: “Most Creative Vehicle Display,” “Best Costume,” and The Bank of Missouri’s “Spookiest Vehicle.” On-site activities will be available for children, including a photo booth area set up for pictures. This event is free and open to the public. Trick-or-treaters are highly encouraged to attend in costume! Event Partner Mississippi Mutts will facilitate a Pet Costume Contest with prizes for the winners. At their table, they will also have trick-or-treating for dogs. Teen Advisory Group (TAG) Trunk Or Treat – The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat at Jackson High School on October 31sts from 5p – 7p. The event will be held in the Event Center parking lot on the west side of campus.
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Trunk R Treat – Come to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church New Wells, Mo for trunk r treating, games and fun. 304 County Road 516 New Wells Mo 63732. October 24th from 3-5 pm.
Homecoming 2021 Community Trunk or Treat – Join the SEMO Homecoming Planning Committee for the Homecoming 2021 Community Trunk or Treat event on October 24th from 4p – 6p. Dress up in video game themed costumes, pop your trunk and celebrate Homecoming and Halloween at the community wide event. The event will take place at Dempster Hall parking lot at Southeast Missouri State University. Learn more here.
City of Scott City Trunk Or Treat – Join the City of Scott City for a Trunk or Treat on October 29th! Local business and city departments will be passing out treats. This is a fun and safe community event. Spots are still available for businesses, organizations, or clubs that would like to set up a Trunk. If interested, please call City Hall at 264-2157 or email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than October 20th, please. We are still accepting donations as well. All donations can be dropped off at Scott City City Hall.

Scott City School PTO Fall Festival – This year Scott City School PTO will host our Fall Festival on Saturday Oct 30th. It will be located on the elementary side of the school at 3000 Main St Scott City Mo 63780 from 5 to 9 pm. We will have live music, FREE games for the kids, costume contest as well as 20+ vendors!!! Our Art Club is also hosting a haunted hallway!! Come and join us!
