With Christmas upon us, this week we asked our personalities to tell us about their favorite holiday eats and treats.
Here’s what our crew had to say. Let us know what your favorites are in the comments down below.
We look forward to baked ham for Christmas at my house and I landed a good prime rib recipe a few years ago that we now do on New Year’s Eve. As far back as I can remember, my Dad always made peanut butter fudge at Christmas time. He passed away this year in March, and I now have his recipe and will continue the tradition. Also, a must for us is several bottles of the small glass bottles of Coca-Cola with Santa on the logo. I started buying those for my nephew every year at Christmas when he was a little boy and he’s 34 now.
My favorite holiday foods are all of them! Seriously, my co-workers call me “Dump Truck” for a reason. However, during this time of year, it’s a family tradition to have lefse…which is an old Scandinavian treat that looks like a tortilla but is made with potatoes. The traditional way to eat it is with butter and sugar…yum! I can’t find it around here, so I had to order a package straight from Gonvick, MN….you betcha!
We have a tradition of a table full of homemade cookies and sweets to be indulged Christmas. Some of which include iced sugar cookies, pecan balls, peanut brittle, divinity, marmalade rolls, and fudge. MMMmmm.
My favorite holiday food & treats are turkey & gravy! What I like most about them are that they will be prepared by my family for our holiday parties & getting to spend time with them is what it is all about. For the treats, the cookies are creative & fun because they are also made by family members with care 🙂

I’m all about a big pile of ham and turkey during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter as it’s pretty much the only time my family serves it. Serve it up with some cream style corn, baked beans, green beans, peas, mashed potatoes, and you better be ready to ward off any other foxes at the dinner table from getting your deviled eggs.
I’m a bit of an oddball in my family in that I always have a big glass of milk with my meal that also goes well with dessert which I always conned my grandmother into making me some warm pumpkin pie, and on rare occasions without crust. It’s just so much better with just a spoon!
Now it’s your turn.
